Soul Knight Prequel earned its reputation. The original was a beloved roguelite shooter. The prequel turned it into something more serious: real class depth, a skill tree worth building around, a progression system that doesn't punish you for playing consistently. If that loop is what hooked you, here's where else it lives.
Archero 2
Archero 2 is the closest thing to Soul Knight Prequel's action roguelite core you'll find on mobile. Dungeon floors, passive upgrades after each room, constant tension between aggressive offense builds and builds that let you actually survive. The skill ceiling is real. Better players clear further with identical gear. If you want something that plays like Soul Knight Prequel, start here.
Capybara Go
Capybara Go runs the same structure: build a character, push until you die, come back with permanent upgrades that carry. The format is friendlier to short sessions. Every run has a point, and the meta-progression has the same "one more run" pull that makes Soul Knight Prequel hard to close.
AFK Journey
AFK Journey is slower, more idle, less action-forward. But if what you liked about Soul Knight Prequel was figuring out how class abilities fit together, AFK Journey gives you the same optimization problem with a bigger roster. The thinking is similar. The execution is different enough that it doesn't feel redundant.
Almost a Hero
Almost a Hero looks like a comedy game and plays like a build puzzle. Artifact synergies, hero composition decisions, prestige timing: it rewards the same instinct that makes Soul Knight Prequel's skill tree satisfying. Idle rather than action, but players who hunt for the non-obvious path tend to find both games worth their time.
The three that share Soul Knight Prequel's build-decision loop most directly are Archero 2, Capybara Go, and Shiba Story Go. Archero 2 keeps the action. Capybara Go softens it into a roguelite idle format. Shiba Story Go strips everything away except the build choice itself.
